NBCC receives ‘Navratna Status’

Real estate developer National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd said on Tuesday that on the basis of its performance upon fulfilling the criteria prescribed by department of public enterprises, the company has been awarded with ‘Navratna Status’. In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company informed, “It has been granted ‘Navratna Status’ w.e.f. June 23, 2014 on the basis of its performance upon fulfilling the criteria prescribed by department of public enterprises.” After hitting a 52 week high, shares of the company closed at Rs 317.95 a piece, up 4.25 per cent from previous close on BSE.
