Titagarh Wagons gains on winning contract

Shares of Titagarh Wagons rose nearly 1 per cent in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the company said it has bagged a contract for rehabilitation of 56 coaches (7 rakes) from the Kolkata Metro Railway. The shares of company rose as much as 0.96 per cent to trade at Rs 283.90 a piece on the BSE. However, shares of the company rose 0.34 per cent to Rs 280.50 a piece on National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 25,167.67, down 60.50 points or 0.24 per cent at 10.53 hours.
