Geometric opens new office in Pune at its 20th
anniversary

Engineering solutions, services and technologies specialist Geometric Ltd said on Tuesday that it has inaugurated its new office building in Hinjewadi Phase I, Pune at its 20th anniversary of incorporation. Commenting on the inauguration, Geometric Ltd, MD & CEO, Manu Parpia said, “We were the first company to start building facilities in Hinjewadi, and Pune has been at the heart of our global delivery organization ever since. We are very pleased with our move from leased offices to an owned premise, which not only reinforces our commitment to this city, but will improve our G&A costs.” In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company informed, “Geometric marks its 20th anniversary with inauguration of its new building in Pune.” Further, the company’s R&D and IP team will work in new building covering area of 76,245 sq. ft. The new building comprises with a seating capacity of about 500, complete with an amphitheater, multi-purpose hall, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and landscaped gardens at multiple levels, the company said in a statement. Meanwhile, shares of the company closed at Rs 144.75 a piece, up 0.17 per cent from previous close on BSE.
