TVS Motor Company over 3% on June sales

Shares of TVS Motor Company rose over 3 per cent in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the Chennai-based two-wheeler company reported 23 per cent jump in total sales at 2,02,177 units in June 2014 The shares of company rose as much as 3.88 per cent to trade at Rs 174 a piece on the BSE. However, shares of the company rose 3.01 per cent to Rs 173 a piece on National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 25,928.26, up 87.05 points or 0.34 per cent at 11.05 hours.
