Goodricke Group’s Q2 loss widens to Rs 5.25

Goodricke Group Ltd on Thursday has reported an increase in its standalone net loss at Rs 5.25 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, 2014, weighed down by higher expenditure. “The standalone net loss of the company stood at Rs 5.07 crore during the same period a year ago,” said Goodricke Group Ltd in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange on August 21, 2014. However, the standalone total income of the company increased by 4.3 per cent at Rs 97.88 crore during Q2 2014-15, as compared to Rs 93.86 crore during the same period last year. Meanwhile, shares of the company closed at Rs 176.80 a piece, up 2.31 per cent, from previous close on BSE.
