German bank uses Dion’s SEPA Gateway to process payments

Software solutions provider Dion Global Solutions Ltd said on Wednesday that a leading German private bank, Hauck & Aufhauser Privatbankiers KGaA (H&A), is using its SEPA Gateway for the processing of its SEPA payments.
Now, the bank has become fully compatible with SEPA with the help of Dion’s software support. Dion’s SEPA Gateway solution supports all affected transactions including domestic direct debit payments (DTA) and SWIFT 103 messages, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the development, Hauck & Aufhauser Privatbankiers KGaA (H&A), Project manager, Christian Gorges said, “To ensure we can continue to deliver a superior service to our clients we are taking SEPA compliance very seriously.”
“Dion provides our bank with a clear way forward, which fully meets the requirements of Hauck & Aufhauser Privatbankiers. Its flexible, scalable solution will ensure we are in a position to process SEPA payments and direct debits from the get go,” he added.
Further, SEPA Gateway is easy to implement and its flexible development provides future scope for customization to support a range of business requirements and transaction volumes. Its standard interfaces are provided to bank’s all major clearing houses, it said.
“Our SEPA Gateway technology simplifies migration projects for banks, reducing complexity without the need to make changes to existing business operations,” said Norbert Steinbach, Country Manager, Dion Global Solutions Luxembourg.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company informed, “Hauck & Aufhauser Privatbankiers KGaA is live with Dion's SEPA Gateway solution.”
After hitting a 52 week high, shares of the company closed at Rs 58.25 a piece, up 4.95 per cent, from previous close on BSE.
