Religare Enterprises receives RBI certificate to work as
Core Investment Company

Diversified financial services company Religare Enterprises Ltd said on Wednesday that it has received a certificate of registration from the Reserve Bank of India to carry on its business as a Core Investment Company-Non-Deposit Taking-Systemically Important (CIC-ND-SI) under section 45-IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company informed, “Pursuant to the company's application, Reserve Bank of India has issued to the company certificate of registration permitting the company to carry on the business as a Core Investment Company-Non-Deposit Taking-Systemically Important (CIC-ND-SI) under section 45-IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.”
Meanwhile, shares of the company closed at Rs 346.95 a piece, down 1.36 per cent from previous close on BSE.
