Natco Pharma surges over 14% on bourses

Shares of Natco Pharma rose over 14 per cent in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) as a result of heavy volumes. The shares of company rose as much as 14.72 per cent to trade at Rs 1180 a piece on the BSE. However, shares of the company rose 14.08 per cent to Rs 1177.25 a piece on National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 25,209.09, down 7.29 points or 0.03 per cent at 10.59 hours.
