Tata Sons appoints S Padmanabhan as Executive Chairman of Tata Quality

Tata Sons today said that it has appointed S Padmanabhan as Executive Chairman of Tata Quality Management Services (TQMS), the company said in its statement. Padmanabhan's appointment to the post will be effective from July 1 and he will be reporting to group chairman Cyrus P Mistry, the company added in the statement. Padmanabhan will be responsible for driving the business excellence journey across the group companies globally, the release said. At present Padmanabhan is the executive director for operations at Tata Power since 2008, the release added.
