HDIL inks pact to transfer its arm to Carnival

Housing Development and Infrastructure Ltd said that it has inked definitive agreements to transfer its arm HDIL Entertainment Private Limited to Carnival Films Private Limited. “The Company has entered into definitive agreements with respect to transfer of its 100 per cent shareholding of its wholly owned subsidiary company, viz HDIL Entertainment Private Limited to Carnival Films Private Limited,” the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock exchange. As per the agreement the Company will divest its 100 per cent shareholding in the subsidiary Company thereby handing over the operations of its chain of multiplex business across India.
