Bank of Baroda - Change in Directorate

Bank of Baroda has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 read with sub-clause (1) of Clause 3 and sub-clause (1) of Clause 8 of the Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970, the Central Government, vide its notification dated December 31, 2014, has appointed Shri P. Srinivas, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, United Bank of India from the date of assumption of charge of the post up to the age of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Accordingly, Shri P. Srinivas has been relieved from Bank of Baroda on December 31, 2014 and therefore ceased to be Executive Director / Director of the Bank.
