Trinity India merges with Raymond’s subsidiary ‘Ring Plus Aqua’

Leading fabric manufacturer Raymond Ltd said on Wednesday that as per the High Court, Bombay’s approval, Trinity India Limited has merged into company’s step down subsidiary Ring Plus Aqua Limited with effect from April 01, 2013. Further, after receipt of court orders both the companies, i.e. Trinity India and Ring Plus Aqua, has filed Form INC-28 with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the company said in a statement. In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company informed, “The scheme of amalgamation and arrangement of Trinity India Limited and Ring Plus Aqua Limited has been approved by Hon’ble High Court, Bombay on May 09, 2014. Pursuant to the approved scheme, Trinity India Limited has merged into Ring Plus Aqua Limited from the appointed date i.e. April 01, 2013.” Meanwhile, shares of the company closed at Rs 363.55 a piece, down 0.12 per cent from previous close on BSE.
